She's getting old...

Emerson just passed 10 months on Monday! How time flies!!! She's crawling very efficiently backwards. She has pulled up a few times, but mostly enjoys scooting around backwards and then sitting up (which she does like a pro)! Many times, we find her under the furniture w/ just her head sticking out (see below)...

Her estimated weight is around 24 pounds or so...She really needs to become mobile to lose the thighs!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, we've passed the 9 month mark! Emerson now has two bottom teeth (one on the 18th of Dec. and the second on Jan. 3rd). We've fought through both of them...hopefully, she'll toughen up for the rest of them. Emerson is just about crawling...although she still prefers to roll everywhere she goes! She's working on pulling up - maybe she'll skip crawling and go straight to walking!???

Her 9 month growth stats are:

--27 3/4 in. "tall" (55th %ile - the doctor is expecting a growth spurt soon)

--21.4 lbs. (85th %ile)

Busy December...

It's been an extremely busy and amazingly quick-passing December! We visited the Santa Train w/ our friends Roxanne, Jason & Nolan on a chilly, December evening (37 degrees is chilly to ride a train through the woods - HO HO HO!). Hence, the red, frosty noses.

The next weekend, we went a Christmas party at My Gym w/ our buddy Nolan. His mom really knows how to throw a party!

Is anyone watching what I'm about to do next?

Mom's friend and co-worker, Angie, chows down at Maggianos (this was the department dinner). She barely put a dent in the bowl although she SWEARS she ate a lot!
Santa came to daycare to visit the good little girls and boys...Webb wasn't having any of it! Emerson was looking around wide-eyed, but didn't shed a tear...

Next it was off to Asheville for a family Christmas dinner. Emerson had a great time seeing all of the relatives! She and Uncle David are great buds, now.
