HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Webb is in a dinosaur phase right now...this was part of his inspiration for his Halloween Costume!

Daddy took Webb & Emerson in the Butterfly House for the first time. Webb and Emerson checked out the progression of a cocoon to a butterfly!

Another weekend, we went back to the Butterfly House w/ Mrs. Roxanne and Nolan and Nolan's grandmother, Mimi. I was fortunate enough to have a butterfly land on my finger so Webb could inspect it up close!

Now, it's on to some SCARY stuff!!! BOO!!!We went to the Wyss House for a mini-Halloween party! Aiden was not into the pictures!

Midway through October...

Last weekend, we made a trip back to the high school where I used to teach. I miss Bunn every day, but was glad to be back! :) Webb was ready for the parade to begin! He was enthralled by the big tractors! (it's a country parade)

Emerson, not so much!

That same weekend was time to carve the pumpkins! Poppa Dale lent us the hats a few days earlier!

You see who is doing all of the work, right? But I had lots of little helpers!

Where did September go?

We started September w/ a trip to the beach for Labor Day Weekend. Emerson decided to get off her knees and actually start walking that weekend. Now, she's a real pro! :)

Webb and Daddy went chasing after the birds on the beach. Whatever it takes to burn off some energy! Bucket heads are fun!

Next, I took the kids to a Public Safety day...complete w/ inflatables, face painting, snow cones and fire prevention tips (not to mention easy-on-the eyes firefighters)!!
I was surprised #1) that my kids would sit still for this long, & #2) that they would allow a stranger to touch their faces!

Webb actually got to put out a fire, w/ some help!
Then, we were off to a Leesville Football game. The kids were decked out in blue & green!
Emerson wanted to go down by the cheerleaders!
One day, daycare had ponies come to visit! Webb was a real cowboy!

... it was short lived!
To wrap up September, we busted down to SC for cousin Grace's 4th birthday party!
