We started September w/ a trip to the beach for Labor Day Weekend. Emerson decided to get off her knees and actually start walking that weekend. Now, she's a real pro! :)

Webb and Daddy went chasing after the birds on the beach. Whatever it takes to burn off some energy!

Next, I took the kids to a Public Safety day...complete w/ inflatables, face painting, snow cones and fire prevention tips (not to mention easy-on-the eyes firefighters)!!
I was surprised #1) that my kids would sit still for this long, & #2) that they would allow a stranger to touch their faces!
Emerson is full of doubt!

Webb actually got to put out a fire, w/ some help!
Then, we were off to a Leesville Football game. The kids were decked out in blue & green!
Emerson wanted to go down by the cheerleaders!
One day, daycare had ponies come to visit! Webb was a real cowboy!
Emerson got a turn...
... it was short lived!
To wrap up September, we busted down to SC for cousin Grace's 4th birthday party!
Here are the cousins, Webb (3), Caroline (2), Emerson (1), Grace (4).
