Miss Emerson hit the big 1-1 month mark this past Monday. To commemorate the occasion, we decided that she should have tubes in her ears...well, not really to commemorate, but to help w/ the yuck that has taken up residence in her ears for the past few months. After 30 consecutive days of antibiotics, I'd had it. So we visited the ENT on Friday, Feb. 27 and were at the hospital on Monday, March 2 for tubes. Nothing like speedy service. Emerson was a trooper and actually did better coming out of the anesthesia than Webb did. Now, we're looking forward to breaking her evil habit of getting up in the middle of the night...
Emerson has sprouted another tooth...on the bottom. I guess it's keeping w/ her Polish heritage of doing things differently. She now has one (almost two) on the top to join the three on the bottom.
She is crawling like a madwoman...into everything...laughing and clapping...such a happy little chickie! Pulling up to see what she can get off the couch or Webb's table...
Mom was chasing me around the house trying to get one good picture for my birthday invitation...did I cooperate? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Webb has discovered the world of Elmo! An adult in an Elmo costume made an appearance at daycare a few weeks ago, much to my dismay. "I cwied (cried) Momma!!" Apparently, a huge Elmo scared more than just Webb b/c there were many kids hugging the teacher's legs w/ tears running down their face. Since that day, Elmo has been a fixture in our world. Webb now watches Sesame Street just to see Elmo. He also has an Elmo puppet. Webb has decided that Elmo needs to wear a diaper. Webb will also "change" Elmo...complete w/ needing a wipe to "clean" him. (Elmo usually gets cleaned from head to toe, not just the private area). It's pretty entertaining to watch his imagination take hold.
