Here are some memories from our trip to NM over spring break...
They weren't just kidding about the dust storms & wind...
I was intrigued by the old staples in a pile near the windmill...I don't know why.
This beauty is in a field down the road from my dad's! It really looks like the old west.
Grandpa and Webb get reacquainted. They haven't seen each other since Webb was a week old.
The three sisters...just before you get to the Mexican border.

These nice Border Patrol agents humored me by letting me get a picture w/ them, their vehicle and the US/Mexican fence...
Some scrubby cactus Will liked...
The sunset over the neighbor's house out Grandpa's front door.
Good night!
The last stop before Mexico...Columbus, NM. Didn't feel like we were 4,000 ft. above sea level.
Looks like the welcome center up in St. Ignace. Really, it's the US Border Patrol "welcome center".
This is called a Century plant. Guess it takes a really long time to grow.
The tumbleweed in the playground. Who would've thunk it?
